Fix Writing That Sounds Like AI
ResourcesView →
Diagnoses and repairs writing that reads flat, generic, or obviously AI-written, and helps you avoid the problem before it starts. Built from ten published studies, each one fetched and checked directly against the source, not copied from anyone else's summary.
Three ways to use it: draft interviews you first, so it writes from your own material instead of guessing at it, review gives a plain diagnosis, repair fixes it step by step, architecture first, then flow, then word choice last.
It also ships a real command-line script that checks a text file for the same patterns the research measures: uneven sentence pacing, three-item phrase stacking, repeated paragraph openers, and more. Full source, the research write-up, and the script all live in their own repo.
Run the three-pass-prose-repair skill (github.com/nimaarkicom/three-pass-prose-repair) in REVIEW mode on the draft below.
Routing: if this is fiction or a narrative essay, load references/structural-tells.md. If this is a release note, PR/issue reply, postmortem, or technical article, load references/professional-docs.md (use the matching domain section).
Review mode is diagnose-only. Do not edit anything. Walk the draft against the loaded checklist and, for every check that matches, quote the specific line or passage that triggered it and name which check it is, in this order: architecture checks first, flow checks second, surface/word-choice checks last. Stop after the findings and wait for me to ask before applying any fix.
